‘Assurance’ Documentary highlights female DJs in Nigeria.

We just watched the almost thirty-five minute long documentary, and so should you boo. ❤

‘Assurance’ the new documentary spear-headed by Nigerian born in Britain DJ- Juba tells of how Nigerian women DJs insist on the right to their existence and space in this territory saturated by mostly men, via the eyes of DJ Sensei Lo, DJ Yin and DJ Ayizan. Dj Juba is part of the amazing female DJs collective Boko! Boko!

DJ Juba’s interest in the issue of gender debate took her to her homeland Nigeria, and Lagos, Africa’s most populous city, was the base.

Without much ado, ladies, gentlemen and all in between, watch assurance below. It was made visually possible by 4:3. Kudos to all involved in the much needed project.

Peace.
